FS: k04-015 giac chip 1.8T
I will get my new custom built, optimized K04 tomorrow.
I have considered a GIAC PC16 chip/tune. They recommend 317cc injectors, 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, FMIC. The MSRP for the software is $300.
What did you run? What tune is on the chip?
I am not familiar yet with the ECU chipping. Socket? How would I get the chip in/on my ECU?

you would solder the carrier board onto your ecu where the stock chip is.
The sale is pending on it tho, ill let you know if it falls thru. hes supposed to pick it up friday.
It was fun compared to stock, im not sure what it would have run, mid-high 13's i guess cuz i pulled on a few stock srt-4's. PC-16 file would have been more fun, but i didnt see the point in taking another mini step on the way to BT. Definitly worth it if you arent looking to go huge on it and just want something zippy and cheaper. Id prolly do an elim kit over a k04 pc16 tho, not too much more and makes way more power.
