They're a joke to ship. Might want to make some supportds for the corners if you do and greyhound is usually the cheapest route on large items like that.

do you think a new clear coat will make it look unoxided or at least "better"

 

theres threads on a whole bunch of different car forums about faded cf hoods and products all you have to do is reclear them because like on my hood its not chipped or cracked and the weave is in good shape but the coat has been exposed to air an sun for too long so its faded an turning green
