I have a 1985 Audi GT Coupe, Silver, approximately 130K miles. Automatic. Recent work done by AutoTechnic, New Milford, CT. Runs well but needs TLC. Would be a good car for a young person who is willing to put in a little elbow grease to get a classic for almost no money. Motor has plenty of life I believe and Tires are recent with recent brakes and all 4 wheel bearings have been replaced recently. Mufler is good. The bad news is Front seat frames are bad and new seat or seats wouldn't be unwelcome. I looked into it and some nice ones are available. Also, Drivers side Door handle is missing currently although I have a spare. Next, It needs front struts. The last larger issue is power steering quit working and I don't have the time or money to discover the issue. it could be simple but may not be. Long story short, the car handles pretty amazingly when you have issues addressed. I still drive it occasionally and steering is a little hard but driveable. I would like to get something in the $1,000.00 range for the car. Give me a yell if you think you might be interested. I feel very comfortable you will get $1000.00 worth of driving out of it and some fun + education as well.
