1997 Audi A6 Quattro Avant ($5000)
I am selling my beautiful 1997 Audi A6 Quattro. I am moving to the UK to get my PhD, so my car has to go. My Audi in excellent shape, both cosmetically and mechanically, with only 113K (around 8000 a year). It is dark metallic green with an ecru leather interior. The car has a 2.8L V6 with an automatic transmission and full time all wheel drive. The car is completely LOADED, with every available option for '97 (Dual Power Memory Heated Seats, Moonrof, 16" 5 spoke Wheels, Bose Radio with CD changer, Rear Sunshade, Front/Rear fogs, and much more). In the last year, I have had the windows professionally tinted and a Sirius/XM (Sirius Mirge Unit, can receive both Sirius and XM) radio installed (Unit comes with the car). It looks and drives like a 2 year old car.
The body is in great shape, the paint is close to perfect and the body is excellent, the car has never been an accident. The car has been in coastal South Carolina (Hilton Head and then Charleston) since the early 2000's so the car is completely rust free. The interior is in great shape as well, the front seats have minimal wear, and the back seats look unused. The carpets are clean, as are the factory floor mats and trunk mat. The wood is perfect, dash looks brand new. The car has not been smoked in and smells new. The AC works great, blows freezing cold. Mechanically, the car is excellent, I replaced the timing belt, water pump, all front seals, front pulleys and front tensioners at 100K miles last May ($1000+) (Work done by European Road and Racing in Charleston, SC). I have reciepts for the work. In the last year I have also replaced the sunroof motor, all four tires (Dunlop SP60's (over $700)), front and rear brake pads, rear brake calipers and installed a new battery. The only MINOR problems are the rear wiper works intermittently, and the sunroof is disabled.
I have all of the keys and manuals. The title is clear and the car has a clean carfax report. Hard to find a similar car in such great condition, especially with low miles! I hate to see it go but I hope it can bring someone as much joy as it brings me. This car would be great for a student or a family, it is comfortable, sporty, spacious and safe! The K.B.B. Value is over $6000, asking $5000 firm. Please E-Mail me for contact information.
