Now @ 217K -They at the same time also put in all new 02 sensors, thermo,
coolant sensors and all PLUS Drive shafts, steering racks, cam seals etc-
When I say maintained I really mean it !! These cars run forever but as everyone knows the auto transmissions go out. This car has a new one. Everything works everything. No dents no major scratches. The value into this car is mainly in the New transmission, and modifications. This is my 3rd Avant and I understand its value, simply the paperwork thread following this car will suffice.

It has 217,600 . It was maintained at the Audi Dealership up until
a month ago. The car was diagnosed with very very low compression
in cylinder 2 and 3 and recommended a rebuild.

The car doesn't turn over currently. It clicks and
hummmmms and putter sound from tail pipes.

My very trusted Euro Mechanic says

He can rebuild the head with hopes that the lower block being OK -
But recommends buying a low mileage used engine and just swapping.
