2001 Audi TT Quattro convertible in NoVA - $8500
Hey everyone:
I'm finally parting with my TT. It's not the best day of my life but I'm looking at getting a new GTI or a used A3/4/6 so I have to say goodbye. The sooner that I can do this, the better. I'd like to be able to make the sale by 10/31/2010. Otherwise, I'll just bring it to CarMax to unload it.
This is a 2001 Audi TT 225 hp Quattro convertible with just over 73K miles. Ran a Carfax and Autocheck on it and there are no mechanical problems with it at all, no accident history but some repainting on the side fender from a scratch. I just spent a bunch of money getting a few things fixed by Volkswerks in Falls Church, VA. I have all paperwork re: the repairs.
The only problems that I can think of are cosmetic. I have some damage on the rear fender that I think happened in a parking lot. It's a golf ball-sized dent right beneath the license plate. There is also an eight-inch scratch on the driver's side door with an unknown origin. The interior is nearly immaculate except the button that activates the driver's seat heater fell INTO the console. So I can't turn the seat heater on during the winter. Fortunately, the passenger side DOES work. Of course, the in-car heater and AC both work without any problems.
I'd like to get $8500 for it but I'm definitely open for negotiations. $6000 and an older model motorcycle would be an awesome trade!
I live in Northern Virginia so this is probably better for people who can come here to see it in person. I'd prefer to get cash for the sale. I've been lucky with personal checks in the past but, well, you know how it is.
