2004 AUDI A4 156,000 miles, black, grey leather interior
Price: $5,000
I have absolutely loved this car and hate to think about selling it. It looks great and still has a smooth ride with abundant power. The reason I'm selling is a stalling problem with the car that could be as simple a fix as plugging a coolant leak that's leaking on the RPM sensor or may be more complicated. I would love to drive this car forever but it's just too expensive for me to maintain, so I'm going to sell it and downgrade.
For about a year, it has been occasionally stalling when I come to a stop. I had the air mass sensor replaced a year ago and recently replaced a fuel injection boot with an air leak, but the problem remains. The car would go months at a time without stalling, but then it would stall as many as a few times in a single day before going back to normal.
The car would always start back up, but recently it has been taking up to 30 minutes before it will start up after it stalls. Multiple mechanics have told me they aren't sure what the extent of the problem is, but the RPM sensor is likely what's causing it to have trouble starting back up. There is coolant leaking on the RPM sensor but the sensor itself may not be damaged.
I have been the only owner of the car and aside from the stalling issue, there haven't been any problems. The car has never been in an accident. It has several upgrades, including a Bose stereo system, XM satellite radio, leather interior and 17-inch alloy wheels. I regularly service the car myself, so it has been well maintained.
ETC: Title in hand, All scheduled maintenance, Mostly highway miles, Non-smoker.
The car is in Riverside CA. Email me at claytor.fowler@gmail.com
