Classic Audi Cabrio / Cabriolet for sale - rare find
OK.....I have decided to put my Audi Cabriolet convertible for sale after having it for 10 years. I'm the 3rd owner and my cousin owned it before me (from 1997-2000). I have taken great care of this car and have done a great deal to it over the years to keep it nice.

1994 Audi Cabriolet - pearl w/ tan leather interior, new paint job in 2003 and new convertible top as well w/ new rear window. I had it painted at that time because I wanted it to be perfect, as there were some small oxidized areas here and there from my cousin taking it through the car wash repeatedly - I went ahead and replaced the entire convertible top as well at the same time since the rear window was getting cloudy from age. The paint job was a $3,500 job, not a cheap-o budget job...I bought the best top available as well, which was around $1,300. No wrecks, no dings - the exterior is a solid 9.5 out of 10.
Interior - the inside is a two-tone black and tan interior with woodgrain accents - 4-seater w/ tan leather in nice condition, also covered by sheepskin seat covers (for the last 5 years) to keep cool in the summer / warm in the winter and to protect the seats. I had the original beige carpet removed and replaced with black by a professional interior shop about 5 years ago (I sent it 3 hours away to have this done - yes, I am a bit particular) The reason I had this done is because I thought it would look better with the existing 2-tone dash / seat / door combination...and there were a few stains on the carpet that I was not going to put up with. The carpet, dash, doors, etc are in mint condition. I also replaced the plastic kick panels and side trim pieces with new factory-ordered black ones to match. The leather seats are in very nice condition, with only minimal wear on the driver's side bolster where you get in and out.
Mechanical - (you guys know most of this) automatic transmission w/ sport mode, 2.8 6-cylinder engine, power windows, locks, mirrors, dual airbags, CD, A/C, heated seat, power hydraulic top (also has manual mode) and more. 124,000 well-cared-for miles (very low for a '94). Has lived the majority of it's life in the town / country - not around potholes, city roads and stop & go traffic. I had replaced the hydraulic top motor about 2 years ago - it works great.
Extras:
--Top of the line Viper Alarm and Keyless Entry w/ REMOTE START
--custom $2,500 audio system - unbelievable sound with the top up or down!
--OEM Audi Windscreen - was over $500
Minor Issues:
--6" crack in bottom corner of passenger side front windshield
--Cruise Control doesn't work - probably just a switch/module, I've never checked as I don't like using cruise when driving anyways
--Could use a new power antenna - antenna works fine, but sticks up about 2 inches when it's all the way down and is missing the rubber mount.
Maintenance - I have maintained the car pretty well, including timing belt & water pump and tuneup @ 90K, and the following in the last 20K miles: alternator, new front and rear brakes, fluid flushes, sensors, tie rods, ball joints, struts and much more. I still get compliments from people who have never seen one like it. I am pricing it at $5,900 which is pretty firm - it is truly is a lot of car for the money in great condition with many extras - you'd be hard pressed to find another one like it in this condition with all the extras. I hate to sell it, but we have other cars now and I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it any longer (unless I change my mind again, like I did 2 years ago). Thanks for looking and please email with any questions. PLEASE NOTE - wheels in pictures have been replaced with OEM 16" Audi wheels recently, which made for a more comfortable ride.
