Bro, hit craigslist for the springs. I live in NY and happened to be in Florida on vacation 2 weeks ago and picked up a set of HR's in like new condition for $90.00. The guy had them installed on his B5 for around 6 months and decided to switch them out to coilovers. Now if you can't arrange a trip south, try and persuade the sellers to ship to you. Also hit the audizine classifieds, lots of good deals going on there...

Hey man, I just noticed your question went unanswered. I have found that the year and engine size as well as drivetrain type, FWD or AWD does matter. Different springs are built to support the weight of the size of the engine in your car. As far as good deals go, have you tried hitting the classifieds at audizine.com? They usually have some very good deals. Here's a link to the suspension classifieds at audizine: http://www.audizine.com/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=49
