17mm HEX and 8mm TRIPLE SQUARE (12-point) 1/2-inch drive sockets required to replace front axles and/or CV joints on B5 A4 2.8 Quattros. 17mm is for axle bolt and 8mm is for bolts holding axle to transmission (on inner CV). Works on other Audi/VWs too, but not sure which. Hazet brand, Chrom Vanadium. The 17mm was used once, and the 8mm not at all. $50 (sold as set only)
