why dont you just do a short term lease.. then trade it in and purchase when the quattro arrives.

 

The only concern I have and the reason I didn't get the A3 now, was add the premium, open sky, leather, DSG and you are roughly at 30k, base A4 is 29k (roughly) 35k for the quattro, unless Audi lowers the price on the A3 when the 3.2 comes out, they will have overlapping products both competive and pretty much a bargain for us.. We'll just have to decide which one we want a 4dr sedan or 5dr hatch.. my wife likes the A3 better than the A4, so that's a plus for me...

salesman told me add 5k to the 26k base. Cant stop there though -so add 5k for in extras and we are looking at 37k plus 3k in tax--When i'm lacking some impulse control in the next few days i'm just gonna go sign the papers. It's a really cool car.

 

I'm having the same thoughts too... 2.0T FSI or wait for 3.2 Quattro. There is something nice about having the FSI technology though, you can say you have a "superior" engine. The 2.0T is very efficient, and has good mileage for the power it produces (and with quickly rising gas prices thats more of an issue).

The Quattro, however, would be nice to have... too bad its not an option on the 2.0T.

Personally, I'm going to wait until the 3.2Q is here and test drive again. I really did like the feel of the 2.0T a lot, but it'll be good to compare. Then again, I'm very patient

Wait.

Not so much for the engine because the 2.0T, especially when mated with the DSG, kicks ***. But more importantly for the Quattro.

If the 3.2/Quattro/DSG version does come out then I will probably end up getting one sometime down the road. That's a sweet combo.

 

go test a 3.2 TT .. shouldn't be all that much different.. maybe a few hp more with FSI.

i seriously suggest the 2.0T though.. it's not that much less hp and torque and it's a lighter engine.. and with a chip!! eek!
