Hi, this is my first post here so any help would be greatly appreciated

I've got a 2002 A3 which has randomly developed problems with the emergency flashers and interior lights. Driving into the city last night, my emergency flashers started to turn on for no reason as I was driving; I tried to turn them off but they every time I did they went straight back on. Eventually, after indicating, they stayed off for a few minutes, and it has been doing it ever since.

Also, the interior light sometimes comes on for no reason whilst driving about, and that won't go off until I stop the engine. I had the relay unit for the indicators replaced about 3 months ago after the indicators stopped working; I initially thought it was just a fuse but £250 later I realised it wasn't. Would appreciate any advice because I can't afford to fork out another £250 to fix this problem.
