2006 Audi A3 Radio won't stop 'Clicking'
I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction...
I installed a DICE iPod/iPhone kit in my 2006 Audi A3 3.2L S-Line into it's Symphony radio. This is what I installed:
2006-2007 AUDI A3 DIRECT iPOD/iPHONE INPUT + AUX | eBay
I had installed a factory Sirius Radio receiver too (the car didn't come with one).
When I start the car, a loud ticking sound comes from the radio. If I turn up the volume, the ticking gets louder. The only way to stop the ticking is to plug in my iPhone and wait until it buzzes (charging starts).
Having to plug my phone in every time I start the car is a real pain...any ideas about how to get rid of this clicking?

How weird, exact same problem just started happening to mine earlier today. Super annoying. Going to have to stop by the car audio shop soon. I've had mine for about 3 years too, so strange to see it happening, although I feel like it may be the connecter that plugs into the iPod. If I hold it in a certain angle with some pressure, the clicking goes away, but leaving it plugged in by itself the quality is garbage!
Anyone else?
EDIT: Turned out to be my iPod. I ended up getting a new 5v Dice cable which now charges my iPhone/iPod when plugged in. My iPod's charging connector was faulty. I now have a new iPod and all is well.
