Hello all,
About a month ago we ordered a 2008 A3 2.0 with nav but weren't given a good estimate of when to expect it here in NY. Does anyone have any idea when the 2008's will be arriving?

I ordered one in mid-June and was quoted August delivery. However, I checked last week, and the car still hadn't been built yet, so who knows.

On the other hand, another member here also ordered an '08 in mid-June and was recently quoted delivery for the week of August 6.

In general, I heard you can expect about a 3 month wait, but maybe sooner if the dealer is able to change a pre-existing order to fit whatever specifications you chose.

 

I'm hearing August as well.
I'm about to order one any day now so I will try to find out more info.

 

mine is coming by the end of the month! they said its on its way over now...

 

My order was placed at the end of July and they are estimating end of September/Early october.
Early 08 orders should start rolling into dealers about now.

 

I had mine on order since July - just picked it up in NY { Great Neck Beiner Audi }

I'm assuming early July? That was quick!

I ordered mine around the 27th of July so it's been just over 3 weeks now.
I figure I still have at least another month. Haven't heard anything from my dealer yet.
Mine has to come to the Port of Houston.

 

Yes - early July - I was very very suprised.

* although it sure 'felt' like a long wait...

FYI - I'm sure hurricane season has the international shipping lanes in the Gulf { currently } treading lightly with traffic - with the season spooling up with 2 good storms already. Hopefully your car will get in right after Dean dissolves into Mexico.

I signed the papers for an 08 on June 12, at which time I was quoted "August delivery". The dealer later told me it was accepted for production July 27, and will arrive in the port of Houston some time in early September.

I'm cranky (at the dealer).

 

I ordered an '08 on Aug. 11th. According to the dealer it was approved for production on the 22nd, should be completed by 9/26, and will finally arrive here in California (Bay Area) sometime in late October. He said there was a chance it might arrive sooner, but he wouldn't bet on it.

Now I just have to figure out what to do until then...

Oh, and if anyone is curious, Ice Silver 2.0 S-Line DSG w/ Bi-Xenon, Navi, Bluetooth.
