2009 A3 P0121 TPS issue
Hi everyone Need some help with this and don't want to spent time and money at the dealership with this issue.
so here is what happen - from time to time very random I will get the EPC light on the car losing power and im able to keep driving but I need to be very easy on the throttle, when I stop and let the car rest for few minute and start the car again everything goes back to normal. I have replace my pedal with a new Audi pedal but the issue is still there. search around and found the I need to replace the TPS sensor but don't know where is it ? and where to buy it from ? (dealership is super expansive). also a few day ago I was stuck in traffic and the EPC light come on and the car start to idle rough I could barely make it to the curb since there was no pedal respond at all. I let it rest for 1 minute and start the car again and boom everything working again. this is drive crazy any help and picture on how to replace and repair this issue will be appreciated.
Thanks

You can try to reset and adapt the throttle body with a vag-com tool but I wouldn't count on that fixing the issue. Most likely cause is a bad throttle body or sensor. Those sensors are built into the Throttle body so you would have to replace the whole thing. Once replaced you have to run that adaption with Vag-Com. I hope you have that tool or easy access to one as it looks like you will need it either way.
Good luck!
