I don’t think anyone answered,so I’ll say this, I have always done my own oil,trans included. Mine is a 11 2.0 tfsi 60 k bought it with 5 k on it. I use either 5-40 or 0-40 depending on temp.

My 11 A3 is now at 63k and after the timing chain and oil pump it’s ready for another 60 k. The oil pump was unnecessary but it’s real easy once the timing chain is in progress.No gaskets just silicone I have pics if you’re interested
On my 2013: The sealing washer on the drain plug is supposed to be replaced each time and the plug torqued to 22 lb-ft. Washers are available from dealers and ECS tuning. If your newer car has a plastic oil pan,things may be different.
