9 year old A3 worth buying?
 

Im faced with a dilema, I have upto 5k to spend on a car, and the A3 is one on my list.

IU was dead set ont he clio 172, but i just cant forgive the interior, its SO bad. I want a compramise with quality and a bit of oomph.
The VR^'s are getting on now

How are the A3's fairing?
My dad has the 2.8Quattro of the same age as the A3's im looking at and it seems mint still after all this time, he got it from new.

Is an a3 1.8t a good car to buy at its age?

the age is immaterial but the service is regardless if A3/A4 or engine "they still hold their price" Cleo yuk girls car lol Audi is the best;)

yeah, its just kicks the hell outa the a3 standard, but not half as nice all round. Reviews are like "well you make the sacrifice of the interior and quality for the performance" SOD THAT I want both!

I've driven all sorts of cars trying to find a better car than my dads A4, but his still holds ground today in terms of quality and without looking like an old mans car (like luxury mercs).

I just hope Audi dont complicate the range too much like Mercades, to the point where no-one knows what you're really driving and how it compares to anything else! Too many FSI's and stuff going on, what happened to the good old 1.8T, 2.8v6, 2.7TT etc.

Audi were becoming real REP cars recently, everyones driving one.... which I hate to some degree, thats why they were special in years gone by because they were "Audi owners secret" when everyone else thought they were Kings driving beemers.

Too many models and diesels in a range really cheapens their appeal, i guess thats the way the car industry is going "Oh they do a 2.0 and a 2.4? But I want a 2.2, in that case I will buy an..." it just gets silly! I still dont know why Audi dont just do one performance model, the RS range.... cos the 'S' people are always gonna wish they were in an RS, and everyone not driving one will think the same thing "Why didnt you get the RS?" Its like saying "I want a fast car, but i cant quite afford it, so i'll get half a fast car" Thats the reason people buy turbo 1.8's, cos they get the bhp on the cheap. 11 Versions of the new A3 2.0T alone!! 2.0 T FSI quattro S line Special Edition Manual (You try writing that on the back of an A3!) Triptronic Sport Gearbox, SE gearbox, or S line gearbox?! come on Audi... Fast, or Normal please

So yeah, back to topic, will the A3 still feel nice and fresh inside, or will it feel like its done 100k...

most important think in this car turbo life :)

car is very good and the engine so but turbo life is short max 100.000 km then after you have to change turbo kit
