A3 Air box continually falling apart...help!
 

I've had my Audi 2006 2.0L turbo A3 air box (front housing that attaches to the grill) literally come apart 3 separate times now, and I'm at a loss why and what to do. My dealership's service dept replaces the box/housing and a few days later I pop the hood and the top of the box has come off (once falling into the fan causing a larger problem) and the rest of the box is separating and coming apart. That said, what can I do to finally get an air box to stay properly? Do I even need one since there's already a filter elsewhere, and what about a K&N aftermarket box?

have you hit 50K yet? if you have just spend the $3-400 on an aftermarket air intake. Neuspeed, Evolution Motor sports for example have great products that you dont notice a sound change unless your hard on the throttle. If that doesn't work for you. Spend $3.50 on a bottle of superglue and run a bead on the inside and put the cover on. BAM! its never coming off.
