A3 Euro tail lights
 

Hello,

How easy is it to swap out the rear tail lights on '06 A3? I found a set on eBay and I'm considering getting them. I'm not very mechanically inclined and would like to know if I can attempt this myself. Anyone has done this conversion and did a write-up perhaps?

I really hate this new trend of majority of imported cars switching to red rear blinkers... :eek:

Get the LED version. No idea how difficult it really is, but I doubt it's something a beginner should undertake :)

Are the LED blinkers red or amber?

Ouch! $400 for LED tail lights... That's crazy. The ones I'm watching on eBay are only $9.99... :D

The amber turn signal euro lights are simple to change out with the u.s. lights. You just have to be carefull with two plastic pins on the inner sides of the lights. Just be patient wiggling them out after disconnecting the wiring.
