A3 purchase at Northern Virginia Dealers
If you want one really bad, youcango pre-owned and save a few thousand off retail. You can get an '06 and get the 4yr/50k maintenance plan, plus get warranty up to 6yr/100k. Just something to consider.
You are on the verge of making a very good purchase seanwest7! let me inform you of my experience. Being in Maryland and working in virginia, i was pretty sure i was going to be getting my new A3 from Rockville Porsche-Audi after work. However, when i went there, noneof the salesmen bothered to even look at me (I suspect that it was because of my youth!) and furthermore, they insulted me when i quoted prices to them. I then tried Audi of Alexandria and bought the car on my lunchbreak: excellent service, excellent deal, excellent looking receptionist, and excellent car! They seem to care about making sales in Alexandria and seem to care about having an abudance of vehicles on the Rockville lot.
Hi All-
Always remain blase' about the car, if you get all emotional and giddy, they know they have you. Purchasing at the end-of-month helps if the sales staff detects a deal about to walk out the door. ALWAYS be prepared to walk if you don't like what you hear.

Check out Francis Scott Key Audi in Frederick, MD. My wife liked mine so much we just bought our second A3 in the past year from them. Just call them w/ what model/options your after and they'll quote you a price on the phone. Ours this weekend (2.0T/DSG, premium, open sky, technology, cold weather, disc changer) was a couple hundred over invoice. Great dealership experience, no problem w/ the trade in, no processing fees or anything like that. Highly recommend them.
