Default A3 sportback swaying/wobbling at speed?

I have recently purchased a 55 plate A3 Sport back with the s line kit on, I have noticed at around 70 mph it feels as though it is swaying and wobbling quite allot, and when I had a full car at around 40 to 50 mph it was moving side to side and my mate asked me what was wrong?

Has anyone got any idea what could be wrong? I have heard something that it could be the tracking or a bent chassis which I really hope it’s not, so any feedback would be great !

thanks

Wheel alignment and wheel balancing tests would be best to start with. Damaged axle and wheel bearing could also cause your A3 to wobble and it would be easy to fix them too. But, if the chassis is bent, you might be in big trouble.

a slash in the tire? i hope you changed it -- that's pretty dangerous. a blow out in one of the back tires can lead to you losing control
