A3 Tow Hook Cover

My 2006 Audi A3 3.2 rear bumper tow hook cover has fallen off. The dealer quoted me $175.00 which is ridiculous. Does anyone know an alternative audi parts source?

I thought it is only like $20, they must have quoted you painting and installing cost

Yes, it was painting and installing. Where can I purchase this myself for $20? I pretty sure I can find someone to paint it pretty cheap and as for installing I can do that myself.

Getting the paint to match can be a pita...I just used some OEM bumper spray paint and match it best I can.

For the 3.2, it is just some dark gray color, so matching shouldn't even be an issue.

As for buying it from the dealer, you have to buy it from the parts department instead of the repair department.

Where did you get the OEM bumber spray paint? Audi?
