Brrr. Its f'n cold up here.

Anyone else startup their A3s yesterday. I checked and Oil temperature was shown as 25 F. Starter her up...sounded like broken glass bottles being ground into a chalkboard. Eventually went but...christ. Wonder what the 4.2 FSI engines sound like.

Mine had the 5k service and i was told i did not need the tumble-flap related re-flash. Anyone else worried about this engine?

Not worried at all. Our engines are similar to a diesel in theory and start up is very similar too. The engine is a rock and you need not worry.

Cheers!
