Has anyone attempted to remove the airbag warning stickers from their visors (US model)? It looks like they are just held on by adhesive and not actually ingrained into the visor. I'm just worried that they will leave a nasty residue behind.

I know the euro visors don't have these labels, but it seems silly to import new ones if the sticker can be removed.

 

Many have tried, few have suceeded without somehow harming the finish after 5 hours of curse and sweat. Best to buy Euros if they bother you that much.

 

blow dryer for a couple moments. do it little by little. my benz was too easy... i did while doing 80mph+/- and did the passenger one too. lol

 

Good question I like a cleaner look and it isn't pretty. I do know that Orange cleaners gets all adhesives off. But how do you remove it?

 

Like MBtoA3 said, I would assume that using a blow dryer to heat the sticker and working it off slowly would be the best way. I'm just worried about adhesive being ingrained in the visor material or some kind of recession being left behind the sticker.

 

Yeah me too. So if anyone has done this or is willing to be the guinea pig let us know how it went.

And then you only have to figure out how to get the alcohol smell out of the visor.
