Audi 8p 2005....slight miss on idle
 

have a 2005 tdi 2.0 audi a3.
Ive noticed that at idle there is a shake,basically as if it ticking over and every say 5 seconds or so i get a shake....as if the cars missing drives spot on,plenty of power and the rev needle dont move erratically or anything infact rev needle stays put and dont budge, nothing comes up via diagnostics its only slight thort id ask.....any ideas?

hi, ive been having the same problem with my audi a3 2004 too.
its been doing it since ive had it, ive taken it back once and they just plugged their computer in and updated the system on the car, but it didnt really help at all.
recently ive even noticed it after driving it from cold for a few mins, and letting it idle and it seems to be worse. i think it may be something to do with the auto choke possibally?

try turning your air con on, it will most likely stop.. its weird!!

im having my audi serviced at the end of the month, so getting them to look at it again.

ill let you know if i have any luck :)
