Audi A3 2.0 TDI Starting problem / cutting out

Hi First i'm new to all this

Bought a Audi A3 2 weeks ago seemed to be runnung fine

Got it remapped on 20/07/2012 and seemed to still be running fine

While leaving a friends on 24/07/2012 it struggled to start (turning over for about 5 seconds) drove a bit put clutch in revs dropped and car cut out.

Tried turning over for abou 6 seconds and nothing for about 10 minutes then did it again and boom started, On way home it seemed to cut out twice but was rolling so let clutch out and it fired back up.

Today 25/07/2012 was turning over for about 10 seconds and started, Drove 5 mins to work all fine, Got to work turned off and same problem again 2 minutes later but this time after 5 seconds it just stopped turning over so took key out and turned over and started.

A friend come with his computer and read "engine rpm sensor g28 no signal p0322" Looking into this it could be the Crank sensor?

Idont fancy wasting money after only 2 weeks of having the car but has anyone else experienced this problem?

To add to this at first the swirly yellow light was just constantly flashing that still is but also engine management light is on now?

It seems to drive fine but on my way home cut out 3 times?

Any help would be great

I'm sure the CEL is on because of the code you posted so nothing unusual. Fortunately I haven't had this problem (yet) so I can be of big help but maybe this will help you out:
