Hey everyone, this is my first post here couldn't find an answer to this.

Had the car for about 3 months used, 2.0 TDI 2013, 50k miles. Every time I hit the gas pedal between around 1 and 2rpm there's a strange rattle coming from the front left and disappears immediately and soon as I release the pedal. Sounds exactly like something vibrating in the door but I emptied the car and it's still there. Recent service and oil is topped up. No loss of power.

Much more obvious at motorway cruising speed but I can just about make it out if I gently rev even at stand still (but only managed this once, can not reproduce). On the motorway it is always there witha gentle rev that disappears if I put my foot down a bit or let go. It's annoying because on gear 6 cruise control it is almost continuously there.

I've managed to get a recording from a passenger, not very clear but you can just about make it out. The 'clicks'are just me lifting my foot off the gas, not from the engine. Any ideas at all?
