I am hoping someone could help me out ...

I Have an A3 sportback quattro S line 2.0TFSI ,

the issue i have recently had is that my car has started to make a loud clicking noise when i am accelerating..... when i take my foot away it stops, at first it only happened when turning right, but now happen in a straight line as well,

i have taken it to a garage and they say there is nothing obvious with any joints etc and seem to think its the diff?

before i take it to Audi or a diff specialist has anyone else had this issue before?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

i have a 2006 2.0t that seems to be doing the same thing. i notice it more at lower speeds and when i press on the gas to shift there is a noise like a click similar to almost the noise a valve makes when it closes.
i would also like to hear if anyone else has this issue and what it might be. thanks
