Audi S3/A3 passenger set wet
Hi All,
I have a 2015 Audi S3 (main reason I put it in the A3 forum). So I realised Friday night that my passenger carpet front and back seat was all wet.
In saying that I noticed that in the days before that I had condensation on the inside windows but I thought nothing of it, until I touched the carpet on Friday night and realised how wet it was.
I dropped my car off at Audi first thing Monday and they took the carpet out as well as the glove box to see if anything was blocked or broken.
Now Wednesday and they still have not found the problem, they have given me a courtesy car in the meantime.
Wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem, if so what was the issue in the end.

I had this issue with 2 different older Audi's.
First was a 1995 A4: the drain underneath the battery was clogged, filled up and water entered the passenger side through the Air filter
Second was a 2002 A6: The windshield was replaced and the tech didn't seal the plastic trim under the windshield properly, so water was entering through the plastic trim into the air filter box. Same as above, filled up the passenger side with water.
The only other thing I've heard of before was a broken/clogged AC drain hose. But that should not completely soak the the front and back while not using the AC.
In most cases it's water entering through the air filter or some clogged drain hose (sunroof, etc).

Interesting about the 2nd one with the windshield.
I did get my windshield replaced under 2 months ago, but it was not done by Audi.
I would have thought if this was the issue Audi would have seen a water leak there by now.
