Best Ipod hookup cable?
Has anyone installed one of the aftermarket ipod cables? If so which would you recommend? I have an 07 A3 with the basic Concert CD player. I would like a cable that allows for some steering wheel controls and allows for the ipod screen to be displayed and usable.

I use the Neo Ion from mp3yourcar. It lets me change the songs from the steering wheen controls. Dice does the same and I think it cost less too

The DICE product is pretty good. If you have the MFSW, the next/previous buttons do different things depending on which "CD" you have selected. For example, if you are on CD 1, next/prev changes track. On CD 2, it changes playlist. CD 3 does Audible chapters I believe, and so on. You also still retain direct access to the iPod, unlike some other solutions.

I do not have satellite, so I didnt have to worry about that.
But there are alot of questions regarding ipod compatibility if you have satellite. There are some work arounds I believe, but not exactly sure.

Some of us worked a deal where we got the satellite radio thrown in for free, but now are having issues with the Ipod connection. I keep waiting for the "miracle" interface.[]
