Bi-Xenon how do I know if I have them
I ordered them from my dealer and it appears on my bill of sale as bi-xenon headlights. I know I have xenons installed but when I high beam they are using the lights on the inside which are halogens. What should I do in the case that they are not bi-xenons even though I paid for them and it shows on my bill of sale. Opinions welcomed as this is my first post. Thanks.

Even with bi-xenons you still have the hologen light as well. The only difference is there will be a small flap inside the xenon projector which opens to allow more light from the xenon bulb to escape. The Projector is also larger than the single xenon projectors.

your hi beam lights are hologens not xenon, but your headlights are Bi-xenons, which just means it adjusts the focus on the light for you, like a maglight flashlight. if you have your friend turn on the headlights for you while you look at your headlights from the side of the car, they actually move. check out my pix on my profile, they should look like mine.

RE: Bi-Xenon how do I know if I have them
when i was ordering from the dealer, there were three options for xenons,
8EH Bi-Xenon Headlights
REQUIRES WPS. NOT AVAILABLE with PCC.
8EX Bi-Xenon Headlights
REQUIRES PPD.
8JD Xenon Headlights
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/audi...7/options.html
can someone please help me clarify as i'm still trying to figure out why the 8JD is cheaper than the 8EH or 8EX for the premium and sport packages respectively. thanks
