to bilstein or not to bilstein
 

Ok. so I need some opinions. Is it really worth it to upgrade suspension from s-line?
I have an appt Monday to get the pss10s installed but wud it be more worthwhile to throw
the money somewhere else? I'm pretty stoked to get the bilsteins in but how different
will this feel from s-line. I'm sure very different. And the ability to easily adjust damping
is pretty enticing. What do you guys think?

depends what you want to do, if you want better handling and lower the car why not get springs for like 400-500$ less? S-line suspensions already super nice.

i had the sline suspensions and switch to stasis coils. fair price and better adjustability. car's lowerd and i can tell the ride quality is better than the sline suspensions. :D

thanks so far guys. Especially you ledzepfoot. Haha. My mantra is either all or nothing cuz I know I want the bilsteins. I def want to lower a little and get better handling and stability. Stock feels too soft on turns and the rear sway will help with that. Also I'll be set for when I get new wheels. I know its probably a waste but I love to waste money on pointless things! Once I get an idea in my head its over! I'm stupid like that. Ha

Brodie - for what it's worth, I upgraded from S-line to Neuspeed springs and FSD's. It definitely looks better, but the FSD's are much softer than the stock S-line springs. The overall feel is less sporty and more smooth. I know the Bilsteins are much stiffer than the FSD's - so it might not be an issue for you. Right now, my wife's S-line A6 rides a lot stiffer than my dropped A3.

panzr - I already have neuspeed ecu, well I did, till the dealer upgraded. But I am getting re-flashed monday. Im gonna go ahead with the Bilsteins and i can't wait to drive malibu canyon on the way home! Along with the new rear sway. But a good comparison none the less for anyone. Thanks
