I have a 2011 A3 TDI with NAV/IPOD package - even if I turn off the radio or MMI before turning the car off, it still comes on again when the ignition is started - and at full volume regardless of the volume setting when it was turned off - even the dealer can't figure out how to silence it. Can anyone help?

 

I don't get it at "full volume" but I can confirm that I experience the same behavior (2011 A3/nav/ipod)

radio will always turn on (to same channel/song from ipod as last time it was turned off) when car is started. can't find a way to not do that.

also can't find a way to turn bose audiopilot off. there's more options on the base stereo in the setup than with the bose stereo!

 

On the 2010's, there's a setting for the initial volume on the service menu (press Menu, then Svc). IIRC, you can also set the Bose options there too -- I really haven't played with it much.
