Car jerking/juddering/misfiring?

Today I went to merge onto the highway and there was a car coming so I stepped on the gas a little hard to speed up and all of the sudden my car started violently juddering/jerking/misfiring. No CEL and once I let off the gas a little it stopped. On my way home, I was in traffic and when I went to start going from a stop, again I stepped on the gas not very hard but hard enough to cause this to happen again in order to keep up with the traffic. I can now basically do it on command and I brought the car back to the place I purchased it from (only have driven a little over 1,000 miles) and they wanted to keep it over night since it was a little later in the day. However, I know these places can try to beat around the bush especially when it comes to being at the end of your warranty so I was hoping to get some opinions from other Audi A3 or Audi in general owners. The car is a 2015 Audi A3 2.0T with 64,000 miles on it. The car was always serviced at Audi every 10,000 miles and the transmission was replaced at 20k miles (not sure why but everything including all services were done at Audi according to the carfax). Hoping it is just a spark plug or coil pack but when something like this happened with my B7 A4 I owned before this I always had a CEL come on whether it was flashing or just remained on. Hoping it's nothing serious but I purchased this car to avoid the problems I was soon to have with my old Audi. Any thoughts, opinions, suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks everybody.

P.S. I know there is a Audi Service Campaign for HPFP currently.
