Can anyone confirm that the 2008.5 TFSI 2.0T engine has a different ECU? The PPC ECU programmer I purchased won't tune the car. When it won't tune the car,you would normally ask the programmer to "read" the car, and then send the reading to the supplier over the internet for them to look at, but the programmer can't even do that. Frustrating!

 

Probably different to the slight engine changes that were soposably made to make it TFSI instead of FSI

 

As an FYI, I have been told that the ECU is indeed different on the TFSI engine. The engineers at my supplier are trying to "crack the code" as we speak.

 

It is a different ECU and companies are working on a chip for it as we speak

 

I guess that I'll just have to make due with the stock power for awhile. Not bad....but not enough!!
