Considering buying Audi A3 3.2 Quattro, need help
.........
Edit: Was asking for advice on purchasing an Audi A3 3.2 Quattro 2004 model. I was concerned about the DSG gearbox and clutch and how much they would cost to to service and replace. I heard the gearbox oil should be replaced every 40k miles and the clutch should last up to 100k miles.

Jumping on board
I too need to replace my A4 2007 quattro 2.0T. I have seen a 2006 A3 3.2 Quattro with DSG. Car has 95K miles.
Everything seems to work. The engine seems to rev higher than I am used to with the A$ 2.0T. I would have expected that a 6 cyl, would rev lower than my 2.0T at cruising speed. Instead, I find that the A3 is about 25mph/1000 rpm at highway speed, whereas my A4 tip is about 30mph per 1000 rpm.
Is this correct for what this car should do.
What should I watch out for?
Thanks

Yes I was wondering how long the clutch would last and how reliable the DSG gearbox is.
I have since purchased a 2004 model and am happy with it so far. Only thing I notice is that it is hard to reverse up slight inclines such as my driveway as it feels like the clutch is disengaging under light throttle and therefore you have to give it more throttle to keep it moving.
How is your A3 3.2? any issues with yours?
Cheers
