Coolant warning when engine is cold
Does anybody who owns an A3 have this problem... My coolant light comes on for the first 30 seconds after I start the car when the engine is cold.
Shortly after the first 30 seconds, the beeping stops and light goes off. This is the only problem I have with no other symptoms.
I checked the coolant levels and they appear fine.
I was thinking that the level might be alittle low and the light goes off after the water/coolant expands when the engine warms up.
The dealer said not to worry about it last time I brought it in for service. I would assume that they would top off the fluids during the servicing and I still have this problem.
Again, thats the only issue. Im thinking of adding a little bit of some distilled H2O, but not to get the coolant/H20 mixture off.
Will update after I add the H20, just thought Id post to see if anybody else has this wierd problem.
Thanks
