dash warning light help on 07 a3
 

Sorry for the question but I just got a warning light come on on my 07 A3 2.0t. its in the center portion and looks like a lightbulb crossed out. Its yellow in color. I have search and can't seem to find it. Please help.

Not familiar with the A3, but, being familiar with Audi, I'd say you've got a bulb out, somewhere. Turn 'em ALL on and do a walk-around. If THAT doesn't show, it may be a back-up bulb, or a brake-light. Enlist the aid of an associate or your passenger seat-warmer.

you have a Canadian A3 :), and yes you have a light bulb out. Probably in the rear. Let us know if you have any trouble swapping out the lights.

in my '06, upon starting up the car, it has that indicator but follows w/ telling you which bulb is out.

Canadian models only indicate a light is out, it does not have the little dots to show FWD/RR or LFT/RT

that stinks. mine doesn't have dots. it says "right fog light" or "rear license light", etc.

I get one occasionally telling me my right front something is out...I read in one of the service bulletins from my E-Bahn manual that, at least for the 2006's, the sensor is flaky. The bulb is not out for me.
