Deadlock - car door locks don’t work!
 

I have an Audi A3 that is displaying a “Note Deadlock see owners manual” once the car is shutoff. This happened after the battery and the gateway module were replaced due to the module internally being shorted. I tried the recommendation on this forum of pressing the lock button within 2 seconds and it didn’t work. I can’t lock or unlock the car while inside or outside. The dealership manager has never heard of the issue and the mechanics are of no help and were trying to blame me saying I was pressing the lock button while inside...BS! . The manager says he’ll have the foreman look closer at the issue Monday. This is the 2nd time I’ve brought the car in over the past 3 weeks and it’s only getting worse dealing with this dealership which is where I purchased the car plus luckily an extended warranty. Can anyone on this forum help?
