defrost solder question

defrost solder question
Does anyone know if this broken solder area on the defrost on the hatch on the right should just be resoldered or does it need a connector and power like the left side? This is a 2006 A3 3.2

I honestly have no idea. I would assume it would need some sort of connector but if that's simply broken or cut out, there should be something left to indicate where to connect this to.
I'll tell you what - if you can wait a day I'll look at my 2007 tomorrow and show you what it looks like on mine. Not the exact same car but I would think that at least the defroster would be assembled the same way on a 2.0t and the 3.2
