Denim blue...DO NOT PAINT LOWERS DIY!
Hello all.
My experience this weekend has taught me this.... DO NOT paint your lowers yourself if you have a denim blue car. My car is two tone now. Audi paint doesnt match, custom paint doesnt match. Trust me, get a proffesional to do it. Im either forced now to live with a two tone audi or to get a Body kit. If you have silver or what not , knock yourself out but its hard to get denim blue perfectly matched. And if youre asking, I did the back lower, saw the color being off and then I was forced to do the front. I left the sides because im not sure if I should even bother now. |

Yup, even the pros had a bit of work on their hands matching my denim blue, but they did a fantastic job.
Any paint with a metallic flake in it is a biatch to match. http://culturepilot.com/users/d2crea...e/DSC00713.jpg |

that's a good job, but you can still see the difference between the lowers and the rest of the car. I guess it's just a tough colour to match.

ORIGINAL: Belligerenceā¢ that's a good job, but you can still see the difference between the lowers and the rest of the car. I guess it's just a tough colour to match. What you're seeing is the nature of metallic paint... every little curve of light makes the color change. It's dead nutz on. http://culturepilot.com/users/d2crea...ge/Sabine5.jpg |
