Now it can be told. The saga is finally over..No, not the Soprano's.. We finally got the car! After seemingly endless days of my venting about paying $580 over invoice, and countless well wishers cheering me on, it has been done! HBL of Tysons Corner in Virginia was the dealer, and aside from an irate manager( great actor) or two, all in all it wasn't too bad. In the end, they offered the Audi extended warranty7 yrs/ 100,000 miles for $2,700. That's $900 off the $3,600 price repeatedly quoted on this site, by the way. I called AudiUsa and they said the price for that warranty is left to the dealers discretion. My credit union will do the same for $1,600 so just FYI. For those who have tragically missed out on my trials and tribulations dealing for this car, it's a 07, Lava Gray, Cold, Premium, Audio, Sky A3. To all thepeople who replied tirelessly to my tales of woe, Thankyou. Now, I'll go quietly into dealer haggling remission and delve into the world of break in periods.. Ah, summer is here!

 

Well now that you finally got the A3 , who likes the A3 better...you or your wife?

Also now you have to be miserable for a about a month while you gently break in the Audi. haha.
