Just get a used 2009 Audi a3. Like it!

Tried to find if the car has bluetooth. Did not find any useful information after reading the owner's manual. There is no nav in my car, but in a left handle of the steeling wheel there is a button named 'Mode'. It display 'insert phone' if this
'Mode' button is pressed once. Does this mean that there is bluetooth connection available? How can I 'insert phone'?

Sounds like you have bluetooth. IIRC, you can initiate the pairing from your phone; make the phone discoverable, then search for devices -- the Audi BT should be called something like "Audi UHV". You may be asked for a PIN or security code -- I think the default code is 0000, but it can be reset with VCDS.
