Default FSD Setup w/pics

I'm looking at the Eibach/FSD setup. Anyone have this on their A3 with pictures? Just curious on how it looks on the stock 17 inch 16 spokes.

You might want to read this AudiWorld thread before purchasing the Eibach/FSD combination:

OEM Euro sport springs are the ticket with FSD's - I've had the new springs 3 weeks now. Ride is slightly firmer than FSD/ stock S Line springs, but still compliant, with a noticeable improvement in handling. Car is now the URban Terrror Bomb.

Yeah, I've seen those threads, but ride height is small factor in the purchase. I guess I'll have to jump out there to see if they will be comfortable enough. If not, I could always go back to the factory sport.....Plus Texas roads that i drive aren't that bad....

Right- if ride height is a big issue, it's best to go directly to Koni or KW Coilovers, save the extra labor expense and time. My Euro springs drop the car only 1/2" over stock S Line, but feel quite a bit different. The FSD/ Euro combo actually rides a bit better than stock - firmer, but a bit more forgiving over sharp, small irregularities. Much improved handling ( mine has Neuspeed RSB also - set soft).
If you're in North TX, drive up here and take mine for a spin - I'm in Tulsa.

I have the other setup with the Koni coilovers, so if you're in South Texas, I'd be happy to show you my ride.

Cheers!

I have the Euro S-Line springs with OEM Sport shocks, and can attest to the noticeably improved handling that Hesaputz is talking about.

Thanks for the input. Where do you get the Euro S-line springs?

The springs came from Vagparts - we had a Fourtitude group buy in March. Oempl.us sells them too - call Rick and he'll fix you up, I don't think they're listed on the site.

Got the Eibach/FSD setup done. I must admit that I was concerned reading some of the opinions on the message boards.

Have to say that I couldn't have imagined how smooth the ride would be. A huge improvement over the stock sport setup. Ran over some potholes and imperfections in the road and I honestly didn't feel like they were objectionable, felt much like stock. That aside, the added smoothness and sharper response, definitely adds to the "fun factor". Plus it looks really cool.

Great product for the A3!
