About a week after i bought my A3(secondhand) the trip computer started playing up.Id put about30 pounds in the tank it would just stay at 0 miles.after about a week it started reading again but then it would show 100miles more than i had in the tank so basically 100 miles on screenmeant the tank was near empty(good for impressin your mates/bad when you remember how much you really gotin the tank).the dealership quoted 1000 pounds(nearly $2000)to fix the dash pod,but thats bull***t cos its a manufacturers fault sothey should jus fix it 4 free.Anyone gotthe same problem or any suggestion cos its reallygettin on my nerves but f*** me 2 grand.

if its in warranty it is indeed bull***t, if its out of warranty, its a fact of life. its expensive to fix cars, especially electrical problems that aren't easily home remedied.

 

unfortunately for me its out of warranty so i guess ill have to cough up or work on my math.such is life.
