help .. a3 wont drive
 

hi i recently purchased a 2009 a3 s tronic 1.4 tfsi its been fine but now the display screen has started flashing , the engine starts as normal and it goes into drive or reverse fine but just revs and doesn't move any ideas , is this a problem with the electrics or the gear box ?
