Help me buy an Audi A3

Hi everyone!
I am looking to buy an Audi A3 here in Norway, and the one i`m looking at is a 97 1.8t ambition and has gone 190000km. The owner is asking 63000 nok or 11600 usd. Is this too much to ask for? or is it a fair price?
As regards the distance it has traveled, does this pose a threat? How far can I expect the car to go with proper care and so on.
I appreciate all help and input!

Regards Kev

Ps. a link to the car on a Norwegian site:

I'd say the price is high for a '97 with that many miles unless it is in excellent condition and you can have it checked out. But then, I'm not sure what the market is like in Norway. I don't think it was even offered in the U.S. until several years later. The only comparison I could find for bluebook values here in the US was for a '97 A4 1.8T, which appraises at around $2000 here.

Thank you for your answer.
As far as price goes im going to push it down after the car has had a sales test, but everything is more expensive here in Norway. A 2011 A3 will cost you around 60000 usd, plus taxes....
What do you think the mileage is like? Too high? I dont want it dying on me after 10000km, i hope to have a care that would last med 4/5 years. considering i will driving around 5-10000km a year.
I also dont want to spend thousands on just keeping it on the road.. What do you think?

Kevin
