Help Needed 2007 A3 2.0T FSI Sport Oil Type?

I'm using Mobil 1 0W-40.
The "required" oil should be VW 502 approved (look on the back of the bottle - it will say if so), which is true for the Mobil 1 above IN THAT WEIGHT. Castrol 5W-40 meets that requirement, probably others, too.
Definitely use sythetic oil, and change it more often than the 10K mile recommendation.
