How much for a3?
 

So i stopped by the millbrae, CA audi dealer asking about the price for a white s-line and they didn't have any. However they had a 2007 just made(?) white a3 with premium pkg,tech pkg, dsg, xenon,open sky sticker price for 31k. I was browing about here and saw most ppl buy for 28k. Also heard 2008 was coming to the lot and 2007 should be cheaper but the dealer told me they haven't gotten any 2008 yet. Is he playing games with me?

How much can i really buy a white a3 with premium pkg, opensky, and something else? what did you guys pay for your a3 with what options? and anyone have any recommandation towards any perticular dealer in the bay area?

According to several dealers, the factory in Germany is no longer making '07s and is now starting to make '08s. However, the first of those '08s won't arrive on US soil until around August.

I used both Edmunds and consumer reports and paid $550 over invoice. I think consumer reports is the best but you have to pay $14 for their report. After you'vr done that, you can acess any and as many cars as you like for 30 days.

I'm closing a deal tomorrow for $1,500 UNDER invoice. Judging from my conversations with my salesman, I'm guessing they have something like $2500 in holdback and a combination of super low (2.9%) financing. Push harder!!

Sorry; let me qualify. This is SoCal. I also know that there are something like 60 cars sitting on dealer lots in Norcal.

Difficult to beat $1500 under invoice, but then again,I am certain December 31st you can snatch the same car for way less....

60 in stock? My local dealership has less than 5 when I went there... Like Chef said, different states, different ball games.

i don't know about that. when i was looking for my a3 3 months agoi didn't see more than 8-10 A3'son the various SF Bay Area lots I visited.

but you must be talking about the several used non-audi POS carsaudi dealers normally haveon their lots and so 60 sounds about right.

does premium pkg, audio pkg, open sky black/black for 28k sound about right? anyways to deduct tax like i tell the sales person to pay for it?

These are dealer to customer and factory to dealer holdback included. Basically 28,000 = invoice
