It looks as if an S Line adds about $5k at the typical dealer. Is there much difference besides badges and cosmetics? Thanks.

I don't recall that much of a difference in price. It was more like $2K to $2.5K. You get the sport suspension with lowering springs, some S-Line badges, S-Line sills, a much better looking rear end and front end IMHO, sport seats with leather, aluminum trim, aluminum trim around air ducts, and the sport wheels. I think about sums it up.

 

That sounds more like what the 3.2Q S-line adds to the price over the 2.0T S-line. Or maybe the difference between a stripped down, manual 2.0T versus S-line version? Definitely ask the dealers to clarify the details.

 

Here in Belgium the S-Line package consists of 2 separate kits (the read and front bumper is one pack, then the interior changes + badges is the other one). Adding both prices would sum up to approx 5K$.

 

Did you even look at the Audiusa website?

$2500 for s-line.
Only difference IIRC is that in 08 you get the power drivers seat in the s-line package. Formerly only available with the premium package.

S-line makes the car look so much cooler and makes the car look a lot less stock. Id go s-line or wait til you can get it because theres no doubt that it makes the a3 look that much better

 

The more I look at the S-Line, I would pick it the next time around instead of "Premium".

The reason I went with the "Premie" package was mainly because of the power drivers seat.

Also, the S-Line suspension is more stiff, which makes it more of a sporty feel. I test drove the "Premie"
and the S-Line and thought the "Premie" ride was already sporty enough for me, so I went with it.

 

see im torn between either right about now. i'm still trying to decide on which one to go with. ideally i want a sline with open sky. but its soooo hard to find em right now in CA [from the dealership. lookin for CPO's]. Im changing the suspension anyway, but i dunno. i know the diff's and all.i guess its mainly coming down to the brushed metal int [if i cant find the titanium package]

 

MB- Any dealership can get any kind of a3 you want. The dealership i went to in Socal had it shipped from another dealership. Mine was Black on Black a3 2.0T with s-line and open sky. So just tell the dealer you want one and they will find one for you and have it shipped to the dealership.

 

thats what I thought. Wasnt sure bout that, but thanks fusion. Lookin to get one by Nov1, but may end up gettin it mid month.
